The Great Margarita Book

A bit pricey for the amount of information, but built for abuse behind the bar so recommended from that standpoint.

TITLE: The Great Margarita Book
AUTHOR: Al Lucero with Robert Redford
PUBLISHER: Ten Speed Press, 146 pages
TYPE: Drinks recipes
COST: $15.00
REVIEWED BY: Chris Carlsson, SpiritsReview.com

Part of the “Great Book” series put out by Ten Speed Press, (all are tall and rectangular soft covers) on a variety of food and drink subjects: this one covers Margaritas. It has a brief history/definitions section and a number of good recipes for margaritas (about 35) and food (22). It has some bartending and food prep techniques and has some photos and illustrations of the drinks.

Paper stock is relatively resistant to spills, smear and the usual abuse a bar and cookbook undergo (thoughtful touch, there). My only real complaint is that it is a bit short on material for the price.
